Fujitsu General Receives Efficiency Accolade
The winning air conditioner was Fujitsu General’s ASTA09LFC model, which obtained the number one spot on the Energy Rating Website with the highest Energy Efficient Ratio (EER), as at 1 July 2009.

The Award is from AREMA and the Equipment Energy Efficiency Committee (E3) – a joint initiative of the Commonwealth, State and Territory government agencies. The Hon Peter Garrett AM, MP, Minister for the Environment, Heritage and the Arts, presented the Award to Shuichi Takada, Managing Director, Fujitsu General (Aust.) Pty Limited and Bernie Bugdalski, Director – Product & Project Development, Fujitsu General (Aust.) Pty Limited.

"It was a great honour to be presented with this Award by The Hon Peter Garrett,” said Mr Takada. "We’re delighted to have won another Award for energy efficiency, following on from our Coolworld Award win at last year’s event.

"It’s testament to Fujitsu General’s constant innovation that we are able to offer some of the most energy efficient products on the Australian market today. And with more and more consumers seeking energy efficient options for cooling their homes, retailers can be assured that Fujitsu’s models will deliver.”
