Fujitsu General began its initial involvement with V8 Supercar Racing through supporting an independent, privateer entrant in the Development series. Now known as the Fujitsu V8 Supercar Series, this series provides young, talented V8 Supercar drivers the opportunity to improve and sharpen their skills and the chance to break into the main Championship Series.
In addition to the naming rights sponsorship of the category, Fujitsu General has announced it will support 16-year-old karting graduate, Scott McLaughlin from Stone Brothers Racing (SBR), in the 2010 Fujitsu V8 Supercar Series.

Continuing Fujitsu General’s commitment to developing young talented drivers, Scott McLaughlin will become the youngest driver to ever contest a V8 Supercar event. He will drive a BF Falcon under the Fujitsu Racing banner in this year’s seven-round championship and plans to spend at least two years in the feeder category, racing alongside the ‘main-game’ V8 Supercar Championship Series.
