Fujitsu General has released the latest addition to its Variable Refrigerant Airflow (VRF) line-up with the new AIRSTAGE™ J-IIS series. This series offers a compact, high performance air conditioning solution for a variety of residential and commercial indoor spaces.

With a 25 per cent reduction in height when compared with the J-II series models, the Fujitsu J-II S series can be discreetly installed on apartment balconies and in town house courtyards, where minimal visibility is preferred.

Boasting improvements to energy efficiency, home and business owners can enjoy significant benefits thanks to a host of advanced features, including optimised inverter control, DC fan motor and a compact and high efficiency heat exchanger. The new range also has Fujitsu’s specially designed DC twin rotary compressor, incorporating a high efficiency compressor motor and optimised refrigerant flow design. These enhancements deliver greater efficiency on all operating loads with significant improvements at part load operation.

Changes to the outdoor fan design - combined with a new aerodynamically designed airflow grille - increase the efficiency of the outdoor unit, reduce airflow loss and minimise the operating noise of the outdoor unit. Further noise reductions are possible thanks to the low noise function. Reducing the noise rating by up to -3dB, the J-II S is ideal for residential installations.

The new VRF systems are engineered with flexibility in mind. Available in three capacity sizes, the outdoor units can be linked to multiple indoor units[i]. With 12 types of indoor units available, ranging in a wide capacity from 2.2kW to 14.0kW, there is a diverse selection of 53 models to choose from to suit a wide range of needs.

Offering greater flexibility, the J-II S series uses compatible indoor units in Fujitsu’s current VRF range. A standardised range of individual and central control options ensures the needs of any residential or commercial project are met.

For peace of mind, the new J-II S range also comes with Fujitsu’s five year parts and labour warranty for residential installations, and three year parts and labour warranty for commercial applications.

[i] Outdoor units on the 14.0kW and 15.1kW models can connect up to eight indoor units, while 12.1kW models can pair up to seven indoor units.
