Australia’s Favourite Air®, Fujitsu General, has received the ultimate seal of approval and been voted by Australians as the 2020 Reader’s Digest Most Trusted Brand: Air Conditioning, for the third consecutive year.

Led by an independent research agency, the Reader’s Digest survey samples more than 3,000 people to gather their feedback on the reliability and trust of brands across more than 70 categories of products and services over a broad range of industries.

Reader’s Digest introduced the air conditioning category to the Most Trusted Brands survey in 2018, and Fujitsu General is proud to have been the winning brand each year,” said Dave Smith, General Manager – Sales and Marketing, Fujitsu General Australia.

“We know that when consumers are shopping for an air conditioning system, they take many things into consideration including warranty, energy efficiency, price, quality and brand reputation. The Most Trusted Brand awards reinforces Fujitsu General’s commitment to delivering high quality, energy efficient and reliable products as well as exceptional customer service.”

With so many Australian’s now working and learning from home, a comfortable indoor environment may be top of mind more than ever. Reverse cycle air conditioning can be a cost-effective solution for year-round temperature control.

Before purchasing a new air conditioning system, Fujitsu General Australia recommends taking the following steps to ensure consumers find the most suitable solution for their home:

  • Measure up – know the number and size of rooms that require cooling; the direction the building is facing and whether there’s insulation.
  • Request a heat load assessment – this determines the correct size and type of air conditioning system required. Current residential air conditioning standards contain clear guidelines for specialists to adhere to these requirements.
  • Stamp of approval – look for air conditioning units that have a stamp of approval, such as the Reader’s Digest Most Trusted Brand award, which is an independently conducted consumer survey regarding reliability and trust.
  • Star ratings – a range of air conditioning units include a star rating for heating mode and cooling mode. The better the star rating, the more energy efficient the unit performs. The Fujitsu General’s Lifestyle KMTC reverse cycle wall mounted units are some of Fujitsu’s most efficient units.
