Fujitsu General’s head of customer experience, Paulene Low, has been recognised by the Top 100 Women organisation as one of the Top 100 Women in Construction for 2023. Paulene received this recognition for her strong leadership, as well as her continued commitment to Fujitsu General and the wider construction industry, including her unwavering support for her team members in the face of adversity.

Philip Perham, managing director, Fujitsu General Australia and New Zealand, said, “Paulene is an extremely deserving recipient of this recognition as one of the Top 100 Women in Construction from the Top 100 Women organisation. As the head of customer experience, Paulene is an inspirational leader for the Fujitsu General team, and exemplifies the essence of the business and its values, leading with empathy and compassion.

“Paulene consistently demonstrates exemplary energy and motivation which strongly resonates across her immediate team and the broader business. Despite the challenges of the last few years throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Paulene has successfully retained all of the permanent staff in her team, and consistently receives high engagement scores in the company employment survey.”

Since joining the business in 2001, Paulene has championed a new award system across the business, significantly lifting engagement, and increased Fujitsu General’s product review customer rating from 1.42 to 5. After receiving the Fujitsu General Annual Culture and Values Champion Award in 2021, Paulene was promoted to the role of head of customer experience in November 2022. In this role, Paulene has also successfully supported the development and growth of her second-in-charge and supported multiple internal and external team members through challenges.

Paulene Low, head of customer experience, Fujitsu General Australia and New Zealand, said, “I am honoured to receive this recognition from Top 100 Women as one of the Top 100 Women in Construction for 2023 with so many exceptional women achieving remarkable things. I have an amazing boss, and team around me, who support encourage me to be the best I can be.”

The Top 100 Women organisation’s inaugural Top 100 Women in Construction list launched earlier this year in honour of International Women’s Day, recognising women in the construction industry who have overcome barriers, achieved major accomplishments, and made significant positive impacts to the broader construction industry and its related sectors.

The Top 100 Women organisation was founded in 2017 with the intention of recognising women’s accomplishments across the construction sector. In addition to this year’s inaugural Top 100 Women in Construction list, Top 100 Women also recognised male champions across the construction sector.
