HOW TO ENTER
An eligible individual must Purchase any Fujitsu Inverter Ducted Air Conditioning System between 01/10/13 – 31/01/14 from any participating dealer in Australia. Upon purchase, the Claimant only must complete the claim form on-line at www. fujitsugeneral.com.au (inputting all of the requested details including but not limited to the outdoor model and serial number), upload a copy of purchase receipt as proof of purchase (i.e. a valid tax invoice) and, proof of payment (i.e. a transaction receipt such as an EFT receipt, a bank statement, credit card slip, etc.) to claim this offer. Uploaded files must be submitted in PDF, JPEG and GIF format and must not exceed 2MB file size. If a claimant is not able to upload documents, then they must be able to print off a copy of their claim form and then fax their documents to the Fujitsu General (Aust) office at 02 8822 2556. Only one claim per eligible product purchased is permitted. At the sole discretion of the Promoter, claim forms completed by third parties on behalf of Claimants will be rejected. Final claim forms must be received by 11:59pm AEDST on 28/02/14. Correspondence from the Promoter to Claimants will be via email to the email address provided on the claim form.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Information on how to claim the offer forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Application for the offer deems acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. By applying for this promotion you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accept all the full Terms and Conditions available at www.fujitsugeneral.com.au. 2. The promotion is only open to Australian residents who purchase a Fujitsu Inverter Ducted Air Conditioning System for their domestic/residential use only between 1/10/13 and 11:59pm AEDST on
31/01/14 (“Entrant”). For the purpose of this promotion, “purchase” is defined as fully paid for within the promotional period with zero balance owing. Proof of purchase (i.e. a valid tax invoice) must include model purchased, the name of the entrant, and installation address. Transaction receipts must be provided showing the date for all payments completing the total invoice cost. At the sole discretion of the Promoter, further proof of payment (i.e. bank statement) may be requested and must be supplied to substantiate the entrant’s entitlement to claim and payment within promotional purchase period. If a cash transaction is made, the promoter may ask for evidence of this transaction from the supplier of the product(s). 3. Entrant only full name must appear on all documentation provided to verify ownership and entitlement to claim. Purchases by, for or in the name of trusts, companies, businesses, commercial or residential developers/ developments and purchases by builders, subcontractors, installers/resellers and their immediate family are not eligible. The purchaser is considered as the payer for the items. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies including participating installers, retailers and dealers associated with this promotion are ineligible to claim/enter. 4. In the event that the Promoter is unable to supply stock for Entrants who have purchased a Fujitsu Inverter Ducted Air Conditioning System for their domestic/residential use between 1/10/13 and 11:59pm AEDST on 31/01/14 and the serial number for their purchased product is inaccessible, Entrants must contact the Promoter prior to 11:59pm AEDST on 31/01/14. 5. Purchases must be made between 01/10/13 and 11:59pm AEDST on 31/12/13. Final claim forms, valid tax invoices and / or other supporting documentation as requested at the sole discretion of the Promoter must be received by 11:59pm AEDST on 28/02/14. 6. To claim, Entrants only must fully complete claim form found on-line at www.fujitsugeneral.com.au and upload a copy of their tax invoice and transaction receipt (including model and serial number of the purchased Fujitsu Inverter Ducted Air Conditioning System) as proof of purchase. If a claimant is not able to upload documents, then they must be able to print off a copy of their claim form and fax their documents to the Fujitsu General (Aust) office at 02 8822 2556. In the event of a claimant being unable to complete a claim form using the relevant options, they must contact the Promoter on 1300 882 201 and make alternative arrangements to claim for the promotion. Claim forms must be finalised by 11:59pm AEDST on 31/01/14. At the sole discretion of the Promoter, claim forms completed and/or sent in by third parties on behalf of Entrants will be rejected subject to clause 3. Only one claim per eligible product purchased is permitted. 7. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of claims and Entrants (including an Entrant’s identity and place of residence) and to disqualify any Entrant who tampers with the claim process or who submits a claim that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Any claim form which is incomplete or invalid or does not comply with the terms and conditions outlined will not be accepted and will not be processed. Errors and omissions will not be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Any claim form which is incomplete, indecipherable, illegible, invalid or does not comply with the Terms and Conditions outlined will not be accepted and is ineligible. The Promoter will notify Claimants by email upon validation of their claim. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. 8. A claim form may be subject to such follow up enquires or investigations or security and verification checks as the Promoter determines to apply in its absolute discretion. The claim form will be ineligible if the claim form and/or the original or photocopied proof of purchase (valid tax invoice) is mutilated, illegible, stolen, forged, reconstructed, altered, incomplete or tampered with in any way, or if they fail any of the Promoter’s security and verification checks or if the Promoter in its absolute discretion determines that an Entrant is not an eligible Entrant or the claim form does not comply with the Terms & Conditions as outlined whether as a result of follow up, inquiry or investigation or otherwise. 9. All valid claims will receive a Beefeater set- including Trolley 1100 Series 4 burner Cabinet (Model no. 23742), 1100 Series 4 burner stainless steel hood & BBQ (model no. 16140), BBQ set and cover valued at $1,837 RRP. The Promoter will arrange delivery of the Beefeater BBQ set; however assembly of BBQ is the responsibility of the Entrant. BBQ Deliveries will be scheduled Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9am to 5pm, for a specific day that is suitable for the Claimant. Deliveries outside of these hours may be available (subject to availability), and will incur an additional fee. Where this Beefeater BBQ model is not available due to delays in production or delivery or any other reason, they will be exchanged for like products of equal or higher value. 10. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected mail. 11. The claim form becomes the property of the Promoter. The decision of the Promoter on all matters pertaining to the claim form is final. No correspondence will be entered into. 12. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the gift. Independent financial advice should be sought. 13. No responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of the gift. 14. The gift is not exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. 15. Please allow up to eight (8) weeks for delivery from claim approval email notification. 16. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (“Non- Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant. 17. The Promoter accepts no responsibility in the case an installer, retailer and dealer associated with this promotion provides any information about the promotion that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions. Installers, retailers and dealers are not authorised to verify, pay or advise about, any claim, the offer or the promotion. 18. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the Entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the internet service provider used. 19. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any Entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate. 20. By submitting a claim in the promotion, Claimants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter. 21. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers and offer suppliers. Entry is conditional on providing this information. By submitting a claim, unless otherwise advised by the Claimant , each Claimant consents to the information they submit with their claim being entered into a database and that the Promoter may use this information (for an indefinite period unless otherwise advised) for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment or other compensation to the Claimant, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the Claimant . All personal details of the Claimants will be stored at the office of the Promoter.
